Each prospective HCMS family must take the following steps to complete the application process:
1. Parent Visit
Prospective parents are required to begin the admissions process with a private tour of the school. Private tours of the school can be scheduled directly with
Danbury Campus: Megin Meyer, Director of the school or Delia Wroblewski Primary Coordinator (203) 744-8088.
New Rochelle Campus: Stephanie Wice, Admissions Coordinator 914-636-6202.
Interested families must submit an application for their child, with attention to: Admissions.
3. Parent Interview/Student Visit
Applicants to the Primary Programs: Prospective parents and students meet privately with one of the Primary teachers for an informal discussion of classroom procedures, expectations, and objectives. Prospective students visit in one of the Primary classrooms for 20 minutes to 1 hour while prospective parents are interviewed by the Director of Admissions or the Head of School or coordinator.
Decisions for admission are made on a rolling basis throughout the academic year as spaces are available. Parents will receive a response approximately two weeks after all required application materials have been submitted.
