Keys to Keyboarding Labs I & II

The Keys to Keyboarding Labs offer students the opportunity to learn touch typing on the QWERTY keyboard.

Keys to Keyboarding Lab I is recommended for students with little to no experience using the QWERTY keyboard.  In Lab I the main focus is on finding the letters while introducing the students to proper posture while typing.  Correct fingering is not discussed in Lab I and typing progress is not tracked.  This lab is most appropriate for 2^nd and 3^rd graders.

Keys to Keyboarding Lab II is recommended for students with some familiarity with the QWERTY keyboard and/or students who use computers to complete school assignments.  In Lab II proper touch typing is emphasized including correct fingering, accuracy, and speed.  Equally important in Lab II is the emphasis on using proper posture, wrist, and hand positioning.  This lab is most appropriate for students in 3^rd grade and above.

Fee: 3rd grade and up: A/S fee: $100.00 / Not A/S $104.00:  10 Week Session
