Organizer/Volunteers should check the survey sheets from the Class Parent folders for additional parent volunteers.
Pamela Frost (MS), Jennifer Crisci (US, MS) and Sharon Cuartero (LE1) are coordinating schoolwide fundraising events with the teachers and administration. These funds are raised from bake sales, school store, promotional items (pies, pizza kits, etc.), events (Halloween costume recycling, craft fair, car wash, etc.) and will be asking for parent input as to what types of items and events they’d like to see. Budgets are being collected from the classes for anticipated field trips and performances. A thermometer will be placed in the lobby with an overall goal and the list of class activities. Funds will be allocated to the class activities by percentage.
Megin will place additional volunteer sheets in the front lobby.
Could International Week become a fundraiser? Baked goods, lunches or dinners packed with ingredients list for sale as a thought.
Trunk or treat event suggested. This is not a fundraiser, but an opportunity for the children to dress up in a Halloween costume on a weekend, parade with friends and trick or treat in the closed parking lot.
